Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the manufacturing team to achieve strategic objectives. This will involve setting the tone and culture across the production facility, implementing lean and continuous improvement initiatives, and driving growth through process optimization and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategy to drive business growth through process optimization and automation.
  • Lead the manufacturing team to achieve strategic objectives, including improving productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  • Implement lean and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve flow.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement business plans and strategies.
  • Manage and develop the manufacturing team, including providing coaching, training, and development opportunities.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the manufacturing team is meeting its objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a senior manufacturing leader, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Education to degree level in a technical or manufacturing-related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Experience with lean and continuous improvement methodologies, including Six Sigma and Kaizen.
