Senior Finance Business Partner

Opus People Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Business Partner to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract in Ipswich.
This hybrid role requires 3 days per week in the office and 2 days at home. The ideal candidate will have an ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification and experience/knowledge of recruitment operations is advantageous.
The Senior Finance Business Partner will be responsible for leading a team of business partners/management accountants across the service division, overseeing full end-to-end month-end processes, and managing budget and forecasting cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of business partners/management accountants, including setting tasks, conducting 121s, and resolving conflicts within the team.
- Produce accurate monthly management accounts for the division.
- Perform full balance sheet reconciliations for the division.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors.
- Manage the month-end timetable and communicate with relevant parties.
- Oversee yearly budget and forecasting cycles.
- Provide commentary for inclusion board papers.
- Prepare variance analysis for operational services and support functions within the division.
- Develop and streamline budgets and forecasting processes within Microsoft Dynamics D365.
- Develop Power BI reporting tools with the assistance of an in-house developer.
- Agree, calculate, and report KPIs for each service within the division.
