We are seeking a skilled Housekeeping Professional to join our team at Bright Horizons Didsbury Day Nursery and Preschool. As a key member of our nursery team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our children, staff, and families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the nursery
  • Perform daily laundry duties and respond to any issues requiring confidentiality
  • Support colleagues with domestic tasks, including meal times and equipment cleaning
  • Ensure all areas of the nursery meet health and safety requirements
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, children, and parents to ensure a smooth and efficient service

Requirements

  • Previous experience of cleaning in a domestic or commercial setting
  • Food Safety CIEH L2 or above qualification (to be achieved on day 1 in post)
  • Sound knowledge of COSHH and health and safety requirements
  • Excellent communication skills
