- 2 years' experience at a supervisory/managerial role in a healthcare setting.
- Demonstrates a patient-focused approach and resolving user concerns effectively.
- Evidence of on-going personal and professional development.
- Ability to develop skills of the team and motivate staff.
- Ability to influence, motivate staff, and persuasion skills.
- Good leadership qualities and ability to work calmly under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work on own initiative using sound decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to support junior members of the team.
- 5 years NHS experience in a variety of acute settings.
- Experience of budget management.
- Experience of managing PTLs.
- Knowledge of the General Data Protection Act 2021, The Access to Records Act 1990, and the NHSX Records Management code of Practice 2021.
- Continuous quality improvement.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Understands own limitations and seeks management support when appropriate.
- Current understanding of the key issues facing the NHS both locally and nationally and the drive for improvement in the patient's experience.
