Cybersecurity Awareness and Training Lead - Remote First Opportunity

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Cybersecurity Awareness and Training Lead to join our team at Maxwell Bond. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering comprehensive security awareness programs to foster a strong cybersecurity culture across the organization.

The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across IT and OT domains to design engaging training materials, manage awareness initiatives, and assess program effectiveness to address evolving cyber threats.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in cybersecurity, training delivery, and awareness initiatives. Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, emerging threats, and compliance standards is also essential. Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills are required to drive behavioral change and adapt to new technologies and risks.

  • Awareness Program Development: Design and implement security awareness campaigns, integrating existing initiatives and tailoring content for diverse audiences.
  • Training Delivery: Create and deliver interactive training sessions, workshops, and simulations using various formats to meet different learning styles and technical levels.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with teams across IT, OT, HR, and leadership to align security training with organizational objectives and policies.
  • Behavioral Change: Identify key human risks, define critical security behaviors, and develop strategies to mitigate risks through communication and training.
  • Vendor and Tool Management: Oversee external vendors and tools related to cybersecurity awareness to ensure alignment with business needs and compliance standards.
  • Engagement and Outreach: Foster participation through gamification, champion programs, and leadership updates on program progress and impact.
