Senior Mechanical Estimator

Calco Services Limited is looking for an experienced Estimator to join their team in Scotland. As a seasoned professional with almost 60 years of experience in the Mechanical sector, this role presents an excellent opportunity to take on new challenges and contribute to the company's growth.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in a Construction-related discipline and proven experience as an Estimator in the Mechanical sector. They will be responsible for accurately pricing and estimating pre-construction projects, helping the company bid on new work, and effectively managing their portfolio.
This role offers a competitive salary of up to £55k, plus a Company Car and Package. The successful candidate will be based in Glasgow or Kilmarnock, Scotland, and will be required to commute to offices in these locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of pre-construction projects, ensuring accurate pricing and estimation.
- Collaborate with the team to develop comprehensive bids for new work opportunities.
- Utilize industry expertise to identify and capitalize on business development opportunities.
Requirements
- Degree educated in a Construction-relevant discipline.
- Previous experience as an Estimator in the Mechanical sector.
- Able to commute to offices in Glasgow/Kilmarnock.
