TXM Recruit is seeking a Health and Safety Professional to join their rapidly expanding Rail company based in Staffordshire. As a critical member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering timely and effective health, safety, and environmental support and advice across the business. Main Responsibilities:

  • Support operational teams with the production of risk assessments and safe systems of work.
  • Undertake occupational exposure monitoring, assisting external providers as required. Provide advice on risk management and health surveillance.
  • Assist with the development and undertaking of HSE Audits and Assessment Plans.
  • Develop and deliver HSE training and identify suitable external providers as required.
  • Take the lead on coordinating and facilitating safety committee meetings.

Competencies Required:

  1. Minimum level 3 Health & Safety qualification, e.g., NEBOSH National Certificate.
  2. Full UK driving licence.
  3. Knowledgeable of requirements for working within a rail safety-critical environment.
  4. Demonstrable experience developing, communicating, and embedding policies, systems, and procedures.
  5. Experience training and coaching others, both in groups and 1-2-1, to develop knowledge and improve performance.
