Job Title: CNC Machine Programmer

Location: Coventry, UK

Job Description: NJW Associates Ltd is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join their team in Coventry, UK. The ideal candidate will have experience in programming, setting, and operating CNC machines, with a focus on precision and efficiency in production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program, set, and operate CNC Lathes Daewoo Puma / Lynx with Fanuc controllers and live tooling.
  • Program, set, and operate Haas CNC Machining Centres.
  • Program, set, and operate Studer S31 CNC Grinder using Studer WIN.
  • Produce CNC Programs using SolidWorks and SolidCam from customer-supplied drawings / 3D models.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Produce prototypes and small production runs.
  • Perform self-inspection of all machined components to ensure conformity.
  • Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Work efficiently to meet customer deadlines.
  • Collaborate with team members while demonstrating initiative and self-reliance.
  • Ensure customer focus and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) integrity.
  • Comply with AS9100D:2016 QMS requirements.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming, setting, and operating, with experience in working with CNC Lathes, Haas CNC Machining Centres, and Studer S31 CNC Grinders. They will also have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work efficiently to meet customer deadlines.
