Assistant Manager

GLL is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team at Cockermouth Leisure Centre. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the centre, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of staff to deliver excellent customer service and achieve business objectives.
- Develop and implement operational plans to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor and control budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and policies.
- Provide coaching and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
- Act as Centre Manager as required, supervising operational shifts and carrying out other duties as necessary.
