About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RGN) or Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our Herefordshire Drug & Alcohol Recovery Service as a Specialist Substance Use Nurse.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals experiencing difficulties with substance use.

Responsibilities will include undertaking well-being clinics in the community, conducting full health and wellbeing assessments, Blood Borne Virus (BBV) screening and vaccination, supporting the management of alcohol & opiate community detoxifications, and administering IM pabrinex & injectable buprenorphine and other harm reduction and well-being interventions.

You will have the opportunity to shape service delivery and contribute to delivering outstanding clinical services.
