Role Overview

About the Role

Ramsay Health Care UK is seeking a skilled and dedicated Surgical First Assistant/Scrub Nurse to join our Theatre department at Oaklands Hospital. As an Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting our team in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist surgeons during operations, providing expert care and support to patients
  • Work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve excellent patient outcomes
  • Develop and maintain your skills and expertise through ongoing training and development opportunities
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team culture, promoting a safe and respectful working environment

Requirements

  • NMC/HCPC registration with no restrictions or conditions
  • Surgical scrub experience within orthopaedics, including hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligament repairs
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA)
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently
  • Flexible and positive attitude, with a warm, considerate, and empathetic character
