Job Title: Registered General Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered General Nurse to join our team at Wrightington Wigan & Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-centred environment, providing high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. As a Registered General Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering pre and post-operative care, ensuring the safe and effective discharge of patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Deliver pre and post-operative care, including admission, assessment, and discharge planning
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective patient care
  • Participate in the assessment, planning, and evaluation of patient care programs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with NMC pin
  • Recent evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
  • Teaching and assessing course
  • Degree/Diploma in Nursing
