Job Description:

The Operations Director will support the General Manager and Senior Director of Operations to analyze and predict financial results, develop strategies for driving EBITDA, and mitigate risks across the Business Unit. This role may involve due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, as well as the integration of acquired companies within Alkegen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Profitable Growth: Analyze items and make decisions through a financial lens, with strong analytical skills, budget and P&L management, ROI, EBITDA, and capital management.
  • Create Alignment and Accountability: Set the vision and strategy for Plant Managers, gain alignment, and excel in execution, integrating newly acquired companies into the Business Unit to maximize value.
  • Build Strategic Partnerships: Lead by example, taking informed risk to achieve business objectives, with a strong presence and influencing and networking skills to drive results in a matrix organization.
  • Enhance Organizational Talent: Build a highly engaged organization, seen as a team motivator, with the ability to hire and develop great talent, drive a performance mindset, and replace underperforming team members.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field required, MBA preferred.
  • 10-15 years of related experience in Manufacturing and Operations Management, particularly in continuous operations and capital-intensive operations, with a history of leading manufacturing operations successfully.
  • Track record of safety dedication and driving/supporting safety improvements, involvement in supply chain, quality, safety, engineering, planning, and logistics activities.
  • Experience with practical application of Lean, Total Productive Maintenance, and/or Six Sigma tools, track record of driving continuous improvement and cost savings results.
  • Practiced in financial analysis of operational performance.

PAY RANGE: $190K annually to $215K annually plus bonus and benefits.
