Senior Support Worker Job Description
This is a highly rewarding role that requires strong leadership and interpersonal skills. As a Senior Support Worker, you will oversee a team of staff and provide direct support to children with emotional, behavioural, and psychological difficulties in a therapeutic children's home based in Surrey.

You will lead by example, promoting a positive and supportive environment for children and staff alike. Your expertise will be utilised to develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our service users.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of support staff to deliver high-quality care.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote the emotional well-being of children.
  • Participate in multi-agency childcare teams and engage with professionals from other services.

Requirements:
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
  • Experience working with vulnerable children and young people.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
