Electronics Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join our team at Pathfinder - IT Recruitment. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative electronics products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop digital and analogue hardware solutions that meet specific briefs, including PCB layout, embedded drivers, and power solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop electronics products that meet customer requirements.
  • Utilize EDA tools and knowledge of key component families to design and develop electronics products.
  • Debug and test electronics products to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve design and development processes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in electronics design and development, with a focus on digital and analogue hardware.
  • Strong knowledge of EDA tools and key component families, including ICs, modules, connectors, etc.
  • Experience with PCB layout, embedded drivers, and power solutions.
  • Debugging and fault-finding skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex electronics issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience with PCB manufacturing and assembly.
  • Knowledge of embedded C and/or C++ programming languages.
  • Experience with FPGA/CPLD logic design.
  • Personal projects or experience with electronics design and development.
