Job Title: Senior Electronics Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join our team in Chester. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative electronic solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electronic circuits and systems for high-speed digital applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet requirements and are testable
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and specifications
  • Conduct prototyping, testing, and fault-finding to component level
  • Ensure designs comply with international standards and regulations
  • Drive the EMC certification process and meet requirements
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of products, general practice, and procedural areas
Requirements:
  • Degree/HND/HNC or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic engineering
  • Knowledge of PCB CAD design packages, including Altium
  • Circuit modelling and simulation experience, including SPICE and WEBENCH
  • Working with hazardous voltages and safe working practices
  • Mixed analogue, digital, and power electronic design experience for embedded systems
  • Hands-on prototyping, testing, and fault-finding to component level
  • Experience of designing for EMC and taking products through compliance
  • Networked/IOT/IIOT product design experience
  • Design for manufacture experience
