We are partnering with a local authority in the UK to assist with the appointment of a Benefits Assessment Officer on a 4.5-month contract, which is likely to be extended at the client's discretion. Please submit your CV for consideration.

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate

Requirements:

  • Experienced Benefits Officers who can accurately process all types of housing benefit, council tax support, and discretionary schemes, including discretionary housing payments.
  • Experience in processing local welfare assistance, household support fund, and free school meals is desirable but not essential.
  • Candidates must be proficient in using the Capita processing system and have experience with document management systems, ideally Civica's workflow 360 system (Comino).

  • You should be available to start work immediately or at short notice.
  • You should have the right to work in the UK.
