About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a School Health Care Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with children, young people, and their families in the community, delivering high-quality care and support.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be based at Northway Community Centre, with a base move to Jordan Hill (OX2 8EJ) at the end of the year. The role involves working in partnership with children, young people, families, primary care, schools, and statutory and voluntary services to facilitate health-enhancing activities and improve health outcomes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver the National Child Measurement Programmes (NCMP) and vision screening programmes to primary schools within a specified area, including uploading and inputting data into digital systems.
  • Delivering and supporting Personal Social Health Education (PSHE) in primary and secondary schools.
  • Working in partnership with other agencies and developing, participating, and maintaining interagency networks.
