Safety and Quality Lead

We are seeking a talented Safety and Quality Lead to join our construction sector team in Ipswich, Suffolk. The successful candidate will have a strong background in health and safety management and a competitive salary of £50,000 - £70,000 per annum.
Job Description:
The Safety and Quality Lead will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the business are compliant with relevant health and safety legislation and regulations. This includes investigating incidents, reporting on SHEQ matters, and developing strategies to improve workplace safety and environmental performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate incidents and report on SHEQ matters to senior management
- Develop and implement SHEQ policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Collaborate with the Site Team, Leadership Team, and HR Department to ensure effective implementation of SHEQ initiatives
- Develop and deliver training programs to increase health and safety awareness among employees
Requirements:

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
