Senior Operations Manager

Excelsior Executive Search is seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations Manager to lead our Distribution Center operations in the Raleigh, NC area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of our distribution center, with a focus on safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement site strategy in collaboration with the Site leader.
  • Oversee daily Distribution Center operations, ensuring they run smoothly and safely.
  • Analyze metrics to report on progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work with internal Business Unit clients to establish clear expectations and communicate effectively.
  • Use data-driven insights to identify issues, analyze root causes, and develop corrective action plans.
  • Lead process improvements to enhance productivity, cost savings, and safety.
  • Supervise Operations Managers and model the BD Way philosophy.
  • Develop and implement programs to ensure a fully staffed, high-quality workforce.
  • Collaborate with other DCs and groups to share best practices and drive site performance.
  • Participate in special projects across North America Supply Chain.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of experience in a related field.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and expertise in operations management, with a focus on supply chain and logistics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to supervise and train employees, with a focus on developing high-quality, engaged associates.
