About the Role

Care New England Health System is seeking an experienced Clinical Specimen Collector to join our phlebotomy team. This critical role involves collecting blood samples from patients of all ages using a range of techniques, including venipunctures, finger sticks, and heel sticks.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Specimen Collection: Collect blood samples using aseptic techniques and follow established procedures.
  2. Patient Data Entry: Enter accurate patient information into the hospital's computer system, ensuring correct demographics, insurance details, and administration of ABNs when necessary.
  3. Order Processing: Process orders efficiently, handling routine, time-sensitive, and stat requests to deliver timely results to healthcare providers.
  4. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage phlebotomy supplies to prevent downtime and ensure continuous service.
  5. Training and Development: Participate in employee training and support initiatives, contributing to the growth and success of our team.
What We Offer

This role offers a competitive salary package, including an estimated annual compensation of $48,000 - $65,000, based on location and experience.
