Nursery Director

Job Summary:
Nursery People is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nursery Manager to lead our thriving nursery in the Nottingham area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring that it meets and exceeds all standards of care and education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Oversee the management and development of a team of childcare professionals, promoting a collaborative and supportive environment for both staff and children.
- Curriculum Development: Lead the development and implementation of engaging, age-appropriate learning opportunities that meet the needs of children aged 0-5.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with EYFS statutory requirements and safeguarding policies, conducting regular audits to ensure quality and consistency in care and education.
- Staff Recruitment and Development: Manage staff recruitment, development, and performance, ensuring that all staff members have the necessary skills and qualifications to provide high-quality care and education.
- Operational Management: Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and managing occupancy levels, ensuring that the nursery operates efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education.
- Experience: Significant experience in a leadership role within a nursery or childcare setting.
- Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and Ofsted requirements, excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
