Job Title: Care Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Care Assistant to join our team at Bridgewater Manor Care Centre. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver person-centred care to residents, promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Support residents with their daily living needs, including personal care, medication, and meal preparation.
  • Contribute to the efficient and effective running of the care home, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve our goals.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring residents receive the best possible care.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting their mental wellbeing and quality of life.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a care environment, preferably as a Care Assistant.
  • Care Certificate or equivalent, or willingness to achieve this within the first 12 months of employment.
  • Good knowledge of care practices, particularly in relation to the care of older people.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, demonstrating self-motivation and confidence.
