Clinical Psychologist

This exciting maternity cover role offers a unique opportunity to join our friendly Psychology team at the North CMHT. As an Adult Clinical Psychologist, you will work under the supervision of experienced colleagues to provide a broad range of psychological services.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide assessment, formulation, and psychological intervention to service users and carers within the CMHT.
- Offer clinical supervision and consultation to the broader MDT team as necessary.
- Develop and implement trauma-focused therapies, with a strong background in EMDR or Trauma Focused CBT being preferable.
- Participate in quality improvement projects as part of a supportive and dynamic psychology team.
- Post-graduate degree in clinical psychology, accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS).
- Ongoing further specialist training and accredited short courses.
- Registration as a practitioner psychologist with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience of working with adults presenting with complexity.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975, and a submission for Disclosure will be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
