Job Title: School Premises Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Premises Manager to join our team at a prestigious independent secondary school in Hammersmith. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our school's daily activities, maintaining our state-of-the-art facilities, and providing a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain the school's facilities, including buildings, grounds, and equipment.
  • Oversee the health and safety compliance of the school, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments to ensure we meet and exceed health and safety standards.
  • Lead and supervise a dedicated team of cleaners, maintenance staff, and contractors to achieve excellence in facilities management.
  • Develop and manage budgets for maintenance, repairs, and improvements, ensuring we deliver value and efficiency.
  • Project manage refurbishment projects, from planning to execution, transforming our school environment.
  • Build strong relationships with staff, students, parents, and external stakeholders, addressing facilities-related concerns with professionalism and care.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in premises management, ideally within a complex educational setting.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when needed.
  • Relevant qualifications in facilities management or a related discipline.
