Job Overview:

BEST IN CLASS LIMITED (BRADFORD) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to achieve their full potential.

Job Description:

  • Support students with SEN in various learning settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students' social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and monitoring student progress.
  • Effectively manage challenging behaviors using empathy and appropriate strategies.
  • Foster strong relationships with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure students receive optimal support.

Essential Requirements:

  • UK school-based experience working with children with SEN.
  • Familiarity with strategies for supporting students with additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
  • Excellent literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills.
  • Current DBS status on the update service.

Salary Details:

This role offers a competitive annual salary of around £20,000, reflecting the importance of this position in supporting students with SEN.
