Teaching Personnel SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of needs in an all-through SEN school. Our small class sizes ensure every child receives the best education and equal opportunities.

Our school is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where every pupil can thrive.

  • Full-time position (Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm)
  • All-through SEN based school
  • Pupils with diverse needs, including personal care requirements
The Role:
  • To support teaching and learning, addressing the personal needs of pupils with complex medical needs
  • Flexible, adaptable, and effective communication skills
  • Promote children's physical, social, and emotional welfare
  • Knowledge of positive handling and safeguarding procedures
Requirements:
  • Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
  • Overseas criminal clearance or willingness to apply for one
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
  • Previous experience working with SEND children
  • Minimum three months' UK residency
Benefits:
