Job Overview

Element Solutions Inc is a leading specialty chemicals company that supplies a broad range of solutions to enhance the products people use every day. As an Inventory Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring effective inventory control and analysis for the Ashby site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to maintain accurate records across both systems and physical locations.
  • Monitor and report inventory levels, age, condition, and turnover to identify areas for improvement and optimize value.
  • Plan, manage, and control all stock and perpetual inventory management checks to ensure seamless operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cost reduction initiatives and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Analyze sales forecasts at customer and product levels to inform supply chain decisions and minimize shortages and overstocks.
  • Communicate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of potential stock shortages and excess stock.
  • Interface with the Demand Planning process to ensure alignment and optimize inventory levels.
  • Implement processes to flag potential issues before inventory is replenished and facilitate short-term and long-term supply planning.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Previous experience in an Inventory Analyst role or similar roles, preferably within the logistics or supply chain industry.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
  • High degree of numeracy and analytical skills to analyze data and present findings in a concise and understandable format.
Skills & Competencies
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including VBA, lookups, pivots, macros, and databases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive process improvements and optimize inventory management.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organized and methodical approach to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
