We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced cleaner to join our team at St Edward’s School on weekends. This is a key role that involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school.

About the Job

The successful candidate will work independently with minimal supervision, cleaning a range of school areas as outlined in a weekly and monthly schedule. This includes pupil bedrooms, common rooms, bathrooms, showers and toilets, kitchens and pantries, and public spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning of school areas as outlined in a weekly and monthly schedule
  • Maintenance of high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work as part of a team

This is a 9-hour per week role, working across Saturday and Sunday during term-time plus additional weeks in the summer. The estimated salary for this position is £15,000 - £18,000 per annum, depending on experience.

We expect all staff to share our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and to become familiar with our policies and procedures for child protection and security.
