Job Title: Specialist Clinical Pharmacist

We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated pharmacist to join our team at Western Isles Hospital in Stornoway, Isle of Lewis. As a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a key role in developing and delivering a clinical and patient-focused pharmacy service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to a number of wards, including consultant ward rounds, patient counselling, and multi-disciplinary working with ward-based medical and nursing staff.
  • Work closely with the technician-led service to provide support with medicines reconciliation and counselling.
  • Contribute to the development of managerial and clinical skills through project work and audit.
  • Participate in providing a clinical pharmacy service to the local hospice and remotely to other hospitals in the archipelago.
