Job Description:

The successful applicant will work closely with class teachers to support the learning and attainment of pupils, promoting independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion. The role involves providing individual or group support to enable pupils to access the curriculum, participate in learning, and experience a sense of achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in raising the learning and attainment of pupils
  • Promote pupils' independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion
  • Provide support to pupils, individually or in groups, to enable them to access the curriculum and participate in learning

Requirements:

  • GCSE or equivalent level, including at least a Grade 4 (previously Grade C) in English and Maths
  • Meet HLTA standards or equivalent qualification or experience
