We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a dynamic school in Buckinghamshire. As a key member of our educational support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring students receive the best possible education and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons, leveraging your passion for education to create an inclusive and nurturing environment.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, particularly those with additional learning needs, to help them understand and complete tasks.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement tailored support plans, ensuring students receive the support they need to thrive.
- Contribute to the preparation and organisation of educational resources and classroom displays, showcasing your creativity and attention to detail.
- Support the monitoring of student progress, contribute to assessments, and maintain accurate records, demonstrating your ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.
- Aid in behaviour management, promoting positive student conduct and a welcoming classroom environment.
What We're Looking For:
- Prior experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role, with a genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when needed.
- Experience with SEN students is highly desirable, but not essential. Relevant qualifications or training in education support are also an advantage.
