Clinical Associate Psychologist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Associate Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Ballington House, a 10-bedded mental health rehabilitation hospital. The successful candidate will work with women who have complex mental health needs, providing psychological assessments, interventions, and research activities under the supervision of a Registered Practitioner Psychologist.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting psychological assessments and contributing to bespoke clinical formulations
- Delivering structured, evidence-based, and psychologically informed interventions
- Undertaking agreed research activities and collaborating with service users to tailor interventions
- Communicating confidential and complex personal information to referring agents and clients
- Providing written reports and assessments for professionals, clients, and agencies
Requirements
- A professional qualification as a Clinical Associate Psychologist or equivalent
- Current membership of the British Psychological Society or equivalent registration
- Bachelor's degree in psychology
- Experience working as a qualified Clinical Associate Psychologist in adult mental health services
- Experience working under supervision from a Registered Practitioner Psychologist
- Experience contributing to the delivery of specific psychological therapies
