We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Associate Psychologist/Mental Health Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team at Ballington House, a 10-bedded mental health rehabilitation hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Work autonomously under supervision from a Registered Practitioner Psychologist, undertaking psychological assessments, contributing to clinical formulations, delivering evidence-based interventions, and undertaking research activity.
- Provide psychological assessment and treatment to service users, tailoring interventions to address complex issues such as emotional instability, trauma, suicidality, attachment difficulties, and self-harm.
- Communicate confidential and complex personal information to referring agents and service users.
- Determine and undertake appropriate psychological interventions, including CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, CFT, and ACT.
- Monitor therapeutic progress using psychometric and clinical assessments.
- Provide written reports and assessments for professionals, clients, and agencies.
- Professional qualification as a Clinical Associate Psychologist or equivalent qualification as a Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioner.
- Current membership of the British Psychological Society or equivalent professional registration.
- Bachelor's degree in psychology.
- Experience working as a qualified Clinical Associate Psychologist/Mental Health Practitioner in adult mental health services.
- Experience working under supervision from a Registered Practitioner Psychologist.
- Experience contributing to the delivery of specific psychological therapies.
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary team.
You will be working alongside a multidisciplinary team to support women with complex mental health needs, including co-morbid conditions.
