The company is expanding its team of Junior Software Product Consultants due to recent acquisitions and ambitious growth plans. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work with innovative software solutions and make a real impact on global markets.

This full-time permanent role involves collaborating with internal teams and working closely with clients to understand their business needs and recommend optimal software solutions. Key responsibilities include engaging with existing and prospective clients, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of their business models, and identifying opportunities for upgrading services.

In return, you will receive a competitive salary between £25-30k per annum, plus a generous holiday allowance, private medical care, flexible working arrangements, and opportunities for hybrid working. The successful candidate will also have access to training and development programs, enabling them to upskill and enhance their career prospects.

A degree in a relevant IT or software subject is highly advantageous, but not essential. Previous experience as a Product Consultant or similar role is desirable but not required, as comprehensive training will be provided. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to present technical information clearly and concisely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with current clients to maintain up-to-date knowledge of their business models and recommend upgrades to their current subscribed services
  • Reach out to prospective clients and set up introductory meetings to learn more about their business requirements
  • Work collaboratively in an Agile environment with internal Software Development/Azure DevOps teams, reporting directly to Senior Product Consultants
  • Shadow Senior Product Consultants during frequent workshops to learn how to train internal and external stakeholders on current software platforms and brief them on upgraded services
  • Identify opportunities to upskill through various training regimes
  • Consult with the Development team to identify potential areas of improvement relating to the software
  • Assist with the delivery of technical presentations and creation of user stories for prospective clients, ensuring open-source software has been modified to reflect targeted companies' content
  • Support the sales team with strategic planning and development of new sales strategies for the prospective global client market
  • Ensure timely and successful product delivery to maintain customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business
  • Adhere to legislative and data protection requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree qualified in a relevant IT or software subject (highly advantageous)
  • Previous experience working as a Product Consultant, Implementation Consultant, Developer, or Software Trainer (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to present technical information clearly and concisely
  • Exposure to Agile environments (DevOps) (desirable)
  • General understanding of cloud technologies and SDLC
  • Able to provide concise examples of problem-solving and overcoming objections
  • Fully qualified UK driving license
