Water Industry Trainer

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our team as a Technical Trainer in the water industry. We are seeking an expert with a solid background in water or wastewater treatment operations, who can effectively communicate complex information and design engaging learning experiences.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality learning experiences to a diverse audience, including apprentices.
  • Craft and deliver comprehensive training programs that meet learners' needs and exceed expectations.
  • Design and develop instructional materials that align with learning objectives and outcomes – think informative, engaging, and effective.
  • Maintain the highest level of quality in delivery products by regularly reviewing and updating them.
  • Evaluate learners both in-centre and in-the-workplace to ensure they're meeting their goals.
  • Contribute to the standardisation of qualifications to maintain our high standards.
  • Liaise with customers to develop and sustain long-lasting partnerships.
Key Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications in the water industry (we require a strong foundation).
  • Solid Maths and English skills.
  • A full driving license.
  • A deep understanding of health and safety.
Desired Experience:
  • Assessor Qualification D32/D33, A1, or TAQA equivalent (or a plan to obtain one).
  • Level 3 Training and Education or similar (or working towards it).
  • Experience in designing and delivering training materials.
  • Proven track record in delivering qualifications and apprenticeship programs.
