The Port of Dover is a critical gateway for international trade and travel, with a long history dating back 400 years. As the UK's busiest international ferry port, it handles £144 billion of trade per year, making it a vital part of the country's economy.

To ensure the compliant, safe, and reliable operation and maintenance of the Ports' Potable Water, Sewage, and Surface Water systems and equipment, we are seeking a skilled Utilities Engineer. This role involves successfully delivering all necessary maintenance activities and leading on fault diagnosis and remedial works to minimize disruption to Port Operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and repair of water treatment plants and distribution systems
  • Operation and maintenance of sewage and pumping systems
  • Delivering small works asset replacement and improvement projects
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and safe systems of works
