About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Prudential Regulatory Liaison to join our Financial and Model Risk Team. As a trusted advisor, you will play a critical role in managing the Society's relationship with regulatory bodies like the PRA and Bank of England. Your responsibilities will include preparing briefings for Senior Management, the Executive, and the Board ahead of regulatory interactions, such as the annual Periodic Summary Meeting (PSM) and regular updates with the supervisory team.

This role requires a deep understanding of the prudential regulatory regime, enabling you to balance regulatory compliance and business priorities effectively. You will also be responsible for supporting the wider Society in meeting the expectations and requirements of regulatory bodies and proactively identifying and managing regulatory risks.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist in managing the Society's relationship with regulatory bodies
* Prepare briefings for Senior Management, the Executive, and the Board
* Support the wider Society in meeting regulatory requirements
* Proactively identify and manage regulatory risks

Requirements
* Proven experience in the financial services industry
* Substantial exposure to regulatory bodies such as the PRA and Bank of England
* Ability to engage and communicate effectively with senior management
* Commercial awareness with the ability to balance regulatory compliance and business priorities
* Expertise in horizon scanning with a track record of identifying regulatory impacts, communicating insights, and tracking compliance progress
