About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Speech and Language UK. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality services to our clients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver effective interventions and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for clients with communication and swallowing disorders.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions, including individual and group therapy sessions, to improve clients' communication and swallowing skills.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and caregivers to ensure effective communication and support.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology, incorporating new knowledge and skills into practice.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Current licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with clients with communication and swallowing disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
