As a Production Chef Learner at Oak Tree Pubs, you will be part of a close-knit team that thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will master our menu and develop your culinary skills with the support of experienced chefs.

Responsibilities:

• Champion brand standards

• Maintain a clean kitchen

• Prepare for busy shifts

• Cook to specification and work with recipes

You don't need prior experience, as we can teach you everything. If you're willing to learn and take pride in working with us, we can show you what it takes to become a vital team member in any kitchen.

You'll take on a full-time role in the kitchen under the supervision of passionate chefs, alongside your training. Not only will you gain a Level 2 Production Chef Apprenticeship, but you'll also support the running of our kitchens, creating memorable moments and ensuring quality never slips for our guests.

What your apprenticeship includes:

• Regular face-to-face and remote catch-ups

• A mix of on-the-job and off-the-job training, including workshops and webinars

• Quarterly reviews with the Apprentice, Line Manager, and Lifetime Trainer

• Feedback sessions to discuss progress

• Obtain Functional Skills in English and Maths (if you don't already have GCSE or equivalents)

• 30 hours of paid work every week

Wage will be:

• 16-20 year olds: £8.60 per hour

• 21+ year olds: £11.44 per hour

At Mitchells and Butlers, you will work towards a Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship standard over the course of 15 months.
