We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Culinary Apprentice to join our team at Oak Tree Pubs. As an apprentice chef, you will have the opportunity to master our menu and develop your culinary skills in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities- Be a champion of brand standards and maintain high-quality food preparation.
- Keep the kitchen clean and organized, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- Prepare all necessary ingredients and equipment before a busy shift to ensure seamless service.
- Cook to specification and work closely with recipes to deliver exceptional dishes.
- Support the running of our kitchens, creating memorable experiences for our guests.
- A comprehensive training program, including face-to-face and remote sessions, to help you achieve your culinary goals.
- A mixture of on-the-job and off-the-job training, including workshops and webinars, to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Regular reviews and feedback sessions to discuss your progress and set goals for improvement.
- Opportunities to obtain Functional Skills in English and Maths, if you don't already hold GCSEs or equivalents.

Our apprentices will receive a competitive hourly wage:
- 16-20 year olds: £8.60 per hour
- 21+ year olds: £11.44 per hour
At Mitchells and Butlers, you will be working towards a Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship standard over the course of 15 months.
