Job Overview

As a key member of our team, you will provide professional and customer-focussed HR leadership, advice, and support to Divisional leads and managers to help improve and support staff engagement, address workforce issues, enhance patient care, and efficiencies, and achieve divisional and people objectives.

Main Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert HR advice and workforce information at a Divisional level to help facilitate the Division's achievement of their Workforce KPI's.
  • Leading on providing professional senior HR support and coaching to improve divisional staff engagement/staff survey results, resolve workforce issues, and improve people workforce metrics.
  • Designing and delivering HR training sessions as required to improve manager awareness and capability on a range of issues and to support the roll-out of HR initiatives.
  • Contributing to the formulation and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Significant HR experience in a large complex organisation/Experience of addressing HR workforce issues;
  • Change management, restructuring, TUPE, and/or employee relations;
  • Analysis of staffing data and design of improvement plans;
  • CIPD qualified, Associate level or above (desirable);
  • HR Business Partnering or HR advisory experience in the NHS/healthcare sector (desirable);
  • Experience of utilising service improvement methodology eg Kaizen (desirable).
