About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our team at West Sussex County Council. As a key member of our HR function, you will provide expert advice and guidance to managers across the organization, supporting the delivery of our People Framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee relations matters, including absence, grievance, disciplinary, and performance management.
  • Build trusted relationships with business areas, establishing HR capability and expertise.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider HR team to deliver a cohesive and effective HR function.
  • Support the delivery of WSCC plans and policies, analyzing people data to drive conversations and target areas for improvement.
