About the Job:

We are looking for a skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical communications and be able to develop and maintain strong client relationships.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects and identifying opportunities for new business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and lead on a variety of medical communication projects including live webinars, recorded videos, infographics, live and hybrid meetings, and symposia, as well as digital omnichannel projects.
  • Understand the scope and objective of each project, including the communication resources required, content/message, therapy area, target reach, and level of speaker/key opinion leader (KOL).
  • Work closely with our scientific team to conduct speaker briefings and slide deck submission through to approval submission, understanding reviewers' comments and seeing through to approval.
  • Manage speakers/KOLs across a variety of scientific areas.
  • Create post-event assets in collaboration with external agencies and scientific teams, such as on-demand video, write-ups, CPD learning modules, etc.
  • Monitor project financials, tracking, and reconciliation.
Requirements:
  • Medical communications agency experience or pharmaceutical company experience.
  • Previous project/account management experience.
  • Ability to work closely with digital agencies/suppliers and understand and deliver digital marketing/communication resources such as webinars, talking head videos, HTMLs, and others.
  • Understanding of pharma product direction and HCP learning needs.
  • Ability to work from Veeva PromoMats or other pharma approval systems.
  • Understanding of pharma compliance and medical communications projects.
  • Knowledge of the ABPI code of conduct.
  • Ability to work under extremely tight deadlines.
Estimated Salary:

$70,000 per annum
