Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team at Right People. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service Delivery: Follow established procedures to meet service level targets and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT support groups to resolve complex issues and provide seamless support to clients.
  • Incident Management: Escalate unresolved incidents to appropriate support groups and utilize IT service management software for ticketing and tracking.
  • Proactive Monitoring: Monitor call queues proactively to identify potential issues and provide timely support to clients.
  • Help Desk Support: Provide technical support to clients based on established standards and procedures.
  • IT Operations: Assist in office moves and manage IT inventory to ensure seamless operations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for IT service improvement and implement changes to enhance service delivery.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Service Desk Experience: Proven experience in a service desk environment with a focus on SLA-driven service delivery.
  • Relationship Building: Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
  • Technical Skills: Strong IT troubleshooting skills with experience in ITIL processes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical clients.
  • Qualifications: ITIL Foundation V4 certification or working towards it.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Work Location: On-site
