Job Title: Mobile Mechanic Technician
About the Role:
The Luton Bennett company is seeking a skilled Mobile Mechanic Technician to join their team in Milton Keynes. This role involves carrying out preventative maintenance and repairs on materials handling machinery in a field service engineering capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing PPM (Predictive Maintenance) and breakdowns on materials handling machinery in a field-based environment.
- Providing reactive breakdown coverage within an allocated geographical area.
- Completing comprehensive training to become fully competent on all machinery and equipment.
- Storing spare parts in the van overnight for quick access.
Requirements:
- Plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment, and automotive technicians/motor trade professionals will be suitable for this role.
- Engine diagnostics and basic electrical skills are essential.
- Prior experience with Level 3 qualifications or equivalent in a relevant subject is ideal.
Benefits:
- A competitive salary of £32,000 - £34,000 per annum (plus regular pay reviews).
- Paid door-to-door transportation and overtime at 1.5 and 2.0 times the standard rate.
- A fully expensed van for personal use, along with a fuel card.
