Teaching Assistant for Autism Support

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Teaching Assistant to support our pupils with special educational needs at Yardley Primary School in Chingford. As a member of our SEN team, you will work under the supervision of teaching staff to develop and implement individualised support programmes for pupils.
Your responsibilities will include assisting pupils in participating fully in school life, supporting their learning and well-being, and carrying out Maths and English interventions. You may also be required to support children in any year group with a variety of needs.
The successful candidate will have experience working with children who have high levels of support needs, particularly Autism. Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework is desirable.
This is a part-time, term-time position, requiring 17 hours per week. You will be based at Yardley Primary School, Hawkwood Crescent, Chingford.
The estimated salary for this position is £26,500 per annum, based on the location and industry standards.
