Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Academic Leader to join our team at Loughborough Grammar School. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Religious Studies and Philosophy Department, overseeing the curriculum, and inspiring pupils and colleagues alike with their passion for the subject.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the teaching of Religious Studies and Philosophy across Years 6 to 9, GCSE Religious Studies (AQA Route A), A Level Religion Studies (OCR: Christianity, Philosophy and Ethics), and Oxbridge tuition.
  • Work closely with the Director of Personal Development and Pastoral Committee on the planning and delivery of the PSHE curriculum.
