About This Opportunity

An exciting calibration engineer role has become available within our specialist client's Engineering and Manufacturing department, based near Leeds.

This role requires an individual with strong calibration principles and background in engineering to work with metering systems and equipment, ensuring they meet the required standards and specifications.


  1. Responsibilities include calibrating and inspecting metering equipment to ensure it meets the required specifications.
  2. Create and maintain procedures to guarantee equipment meets technical standards.
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to equipment calibration and performance.
  4. Maintain accurate records of calibration activities for customer audit purposes.
  5. Provide training to other technicians on setup and calibration techniques and procedures.
  6. Guarantee all calibration activities adhere to quality standards and regulations.
  7. Manage logistic KPIs on new vehicle reliability and non-repeatable visits with stated guidelines.
Requirements and Benefits

  1. Engineering calibration principles/background.
  2. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills relating to equipment and instrumentation.
  3. Precision in making adjustments and ensuring equipment meets specified measurements.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Proficiency in MS Office and Smartsheet.
Salary and Benefits Package

This role comes with a competitive salary of £35 - 38k, a full-time position with Monday to Friday working hours, a generous holiday package including bank holidays, a company pension scheme, and additional company benefits.
