Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Teaching Vacancies. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and pastoral needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the teacher in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assist students with their academic and personal development
  • Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Contribute to the development of a safe and respectful learning environment

Requirements:

  • Love working with children
  • NVQ level 2 or equivalent
  • Previous experience of working with children (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluent English language skills
